BOMBERS STRUGGLE IN WIN

The Bombers made tough work of their last divisional game Friday night, beating Pine Island 26-0. It was 0-0 late in the 2 quarter when Pine Island fumbled a Bomber punt. The Bombers scored seconds before the half ended,to take a 7-0 lead into the half. I received a little flake about not getting my game preview done, before the game. If I had, I would have said the Bombers should be ahead by at least 28 points by half time. Rest the starters the second half and let the second stringers get some action, and get ready for the playoffs. Boy was I wrong, the Bombers needed a great 4th quarter to put the game away, after only leading 7-0 after the 3rd quarter.
